Wishing You All the Best for 2019!
Hello Friend,
As a goals-oriented person, I usually create a New Year’s Resolution list filled with things I’d like to accomplish. However, I often find myself disappointed at the end of the year when I look back and see that I have only accomplished a few things, and so much seems left to be achieved.
So, this year, I’m going to take a more self-loving approach and set my only goal as being to remember to ask myself continuously, “What is the most loving thing I can do for myself in this moment?”
This is part of my intention to practice more self-love in 2019. After deciding to leave my full-time law practice to focus on building a business that reflects my passions and abilities, I’ve realized that my desire for achievement often gets in the way of being able to enjoy the journey and pay attention to my inner spirit.
I am learning that by practicing self-love and care, you are better able to manage your inner-critic, which often holds you to impossible standards and steals your joy. You are also able to uncover your inner truths, which are there to guide you on your life journey. This does not mean your life will be “perfect” or that you will not face challenges along the way. What it means is that you are better able to navigate any challenges, in order to learn and grow from them. And, that you’re better able to appreciate the beauty of your life with all of its messiness and imperfections.
I hope you will join me in committing to practice more self-love in 2019, so you can live a joyful and authentic life.
My passion is to help people discover their truth, so if you’re curious about how I can help you on that journey, please reach out and send me a message to book a free 30-minute consult.
Wishing you all the Best for 2019!
Sandra
